I was greeted promptly by an employee who quickly saw that I was in distress while wandering around looking for the right place to go, and instead of just pointing me to the service dept. like they do at most dealerships, he walked me all the counter and introduced me to my service writer. My service writer was courteous and professional throughout the entire experience, and when I asked for details and pricing on doing an 80k service he noticed I was a little weary of the price and gave me an itemized list of what to take care of as to defer my costs a little. I was very pleased with my service and the dealership, and will be more than happy to refer my friends and family to your service dept anytime! Keep up the good work!

8/27/2011 - Myriam - We bought our 2010 VW Jetta TDI in VA Beach to haveahighly reliable vehicle for our daughter to use at school in Florida.. At school the vehicle would not start. called our dealer, who had no real interest in helping us since the vehicle was not at their dealership but was out of state. Called another dealership in Newport News, VA and Chris, an excellent young man, referred us to Kuhn VW in Tampa. Chris knew Kuhn very well. Kyle at Kuhn VW in Tampa saved the day. He knew exactly what went wrong and fixed it within hours. Kuhn provided the best customer service I have EVER experienced, and it wasn't even "their car," i.e., sold by Kuhn. We sleep easier now in Norfolk, knowing our daughter and her VW in Tampa are in good hands with Kuhn and Kyle.

6/15/2011 - Susan - I was traveling out of state when I experienced problems with my tires. I did have to purchase new tires. Unfortunately the Firestone facility could not do the wheel alignment for my Passat so I needed to contact a Volkswagen dealership. I scanned the yellow pages on Fri. at 6:10 pm!! The first dealership I contacted was closed for repairs on Sat. I needed to get the repair done on Sat. because I was due to leave the Tampa area on Mon am. I continued to look further. The next dealer I contacted (I believe the dealership name was Branham???) said that there was another dealer closer to me which was part of the same organization. Anyway, he gave me their phone number and the name of the Service Manager. He stated that they would be able to help me and if I needed further assistance to call him back. Wow, very nice indeed. I had hope. Unfortunately, I do not have his name. Next I called Kuhn, but the service department was closed, I left a message with my number and problem. When I returned to the home of the relatives I was visiting they informed me that the dealership was a few minutes from the place we were having dinner that night. I followed them to the restaurant to drop my car at the dealership after dinner. I was hoping that if the car was there they may have an opportunity to work on it. It was late and dark when I arrived at your facility. I was helped by another man who was there dropping a friend’s car off. He was an employee, William Diamond, and he was very helpful showing me where to park the car and fill out the form and the location of the drop box. He gave me his card and phone # and told me to call him if I needed any further help. Sooo nice!!! The next morning they called me shortly after opening and informed me that they would work me in for service. I was so grateful!!!! About noon my car was ready for pick up. I can't tell you how appreciative I am for their attention and help. I had a 500 mile trip home and to know my car was in good working condition made me feel safe, especially while traveling alone. I cannot say enough about the service staff and the customer representatives I spoke with on the phone and the gentleman that helped me at drop off. You have great employees all the way around your organization. Bravo!!! I hope you share this with corporate or at least your regional manager. You deserve credit for being a customer service oriented organization. I only hope that my Volkswagen dealership, Wray Automotive, is as wonderful to all their customers as well.

Although Gary is no long my service manager he still called me to make sure I was okay and to tell me I would be safe to drive home. Gary and Kyle are the reasons I will never take my car any place else and the reason I will continue to buy/drive VW vehicles!

He is always thorough in his explanation of the service you are getting and the pricing, when asked about future service intervals he provides great information about that as well. He knows how to properly service a customer and TO them other departments (parts) or the rental car people. While my VW was in for service I needed a battery for my wife's Honda Pilot key, he explained what I needed, so lessons learned regarding key battery replacement (i.e. why I should have your parts guys handle it), where to get it done in house and followed up with me later to make sure I had gotten the battery replaced, ...the guys in part were great as well, pleasant, polite, prompt and competent. Patrick makes my experience at Kuhn first class in conjunction with the rest of the Kuhn team, and those positive experiences are why I come back.

3/3/2011 - Shaun - The service was performed perfectly. The service advisor, Patrick, and the parts department, Art, were courteous. I was surprised that there was no charge for some of the minor labor required during this repair and Art even gave me a part at no charge. Finally, the car was washed and the interior vacuumed. We will definitely come back to Kuhn VW.

The purchase of my new car was actually a second choice to a different type of vehicle sold elsewhere. In the end, I had a harder time giving up the dealership than I did the first choice. I have now driven my new Jetta TDI Wagon for a few days and also don't miss the alternative.
