Unfortunately, Kuhn Volkswagen will go down in history as the worst experience I’ve ever had with an auto dealership. My daughter attends the University of Tampa, and this year we sent her to school with my wife’s old 2018 Tiguan. A month into the semester, Kuhn’s service department informed us the car needed a major repair — a damaged cylinder head — totaling nearly $7,000 in repairs. From that moment, everything went downhill. After deciding it made no sense to put that kind of money into a seven-year-old car, I asked Kuhn for some specific new-car options. The young sales rep I was assigned responded with a handful of overpriced vehicles that didn’t come close to what I requested. To make matters worse, the trade-in value they offered for our Tiguan was insultingly low — almost laughable. It quickly became clear that they knew I was 500 miles away, that my daughter needed a car, and they were intent on taking advantage of the situation. Thankfully, my daughter was able to retrieve the Tiguan before they effectively held it hostage. Carvana later paid me seven times what Kuhn offered! In the end, I purchased her a new VW from a reputable dealership here in Georgia and personally delivered it to Tampa this past weekend. The bottom line: Don’t trust this dealership — especially if you have students at the University of Tampa. In my opinion, they are opportunistic and predatory, targeting out-of-state parents who simply want to help their kids. If anyone from Kuhn happens to read this, know that I will make sure my experience is heard loud and clear.

We just took delivery of a nearly new vehicle from Kuhn VW. We are located about three hours from them and were so impressed with how they made the transaction so easy and effortless from the distance. From the pricing details to arranging final delivery everything went flawlessly and we have our sales representative Tom Sherwood to thank, He was constantly in contact with us keeping us informed about the transaction. He did a phenominal job. Be sure to ask for him. We couldn't be more impressed.

Went to Kuhn Volkswagen after a few visits to Volkswagen of North Tampa. Met Trevor, our sales rep. He was wonderful and very professional. I informed him of the horrible experience at VW of North Tampa and he understood the situation, even though we were not in a dire need for a car. Next I met Doug Ramirez, Sales mgr. who was also very empathetic and sympathetic to our situation after wasting so much time at VW of North Tampa which was a terrible experience. We negotiated the purchase of our vehicle and next met Derek, our finance person. All I can say is everyone that we met at Kuhn VW was so very pleasant, professional, courteous, and made to feel welcomed without any pressure on sales. I can only say that they have earned our business and I will refer them to anybody looking to purchase a new vehicle because they are quite honest in their practices and negotiations. This was the second VW I've bought new from Kuhn. The last was over 20 years ago. I did a lot of research online and came in on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend to do a test drive. Lenny Martinez made the process super smooth and I was in and out in maybe 2 hours. Left me plenty of time to enjoy the rest of my day in my new 2025 Taos. Highly recommend.

I can only say if you don't have time to play games you should stop here and see Damian Hall, he was our sales person and was wonderful. I typically don't like to be sold, I do my research and knew what I wanted to see and what I wanted to pay. The management team here also listens tot eh customers. I was in and out within 2 and a half hours completed and driving home in my new ID4.

A great experience all around. Damian was a pleasure to work with, as was the rest of the team. No pressure. Understood I had other options to consider. Held my preferred vehicle all day until I could get back to ink the deal.
