Where to watch the 2018 Winter Olympics Tampa FL

The time has come again for the Winter Olympics, and for 2018 this means we’ll be watching from our couches or maybe from a local tavern. Why? Because the games are happening in PyeongChang, South Korea. We didn’t really expect them to happen in Tampa, FL, anyway. This doesn’t mean we won’t be watching, but we will be considering where are best options are to watch the games.

Sports Bar to watch PyeongChang 2018 Olympics

Part of the fun of any sport is enjoying it in a group. These are our favorite places for their food, drink specials and overall atmosphere.

Miller’s Ale House

This is one of the few locations to directly remind you to watch the 2018 Winter Games, but we expect that to change once they launch. We recommend Miller for its happy hour specials which run through 7 p.m.

When it comes to good food and good atmosphere, it’s hard to beat Ducky’s. Not only do they serve amazing and upscale food, but their daily specials are hard to beat.

Duffy’s Sport Grill

Not to be confused with Ducky’s, Duffy’s Sport Grille is a traditional scene with the simple comfort foods you’re probably accustomed to.  What you’ll like about Duffy’s is the buy one, get one drink specials that are a standard all day, every day.

The Broken Yolk Cafe

So there’s just one teeny, tiny problem with picking your favorite sports bar and planting yourself on a stool: The Olympics are held all day. Now, we don’t expect you to quit your job just to watch every event, but this is worth noting because of the opening ceremony will take place at 6 a.m. est. After all, South Korea is on an entirely different time zone. This means you’ll either be watching it with your morning coffee before work, or heading in late after you catch some breakfast. It just so happens The Broken Yolk Café just happens to be one of the few places with a variety of TVs to view.
